Brown Bag Workshops

The Brown Bag workshop series is intended to provide short and informal training sessions on all things related to technology in the language and culture classroom. Whether you are an experienced blogger or you’ve never heard of Google Docs, these workshops can provide the motivation, interaction, and resources so you can integrate more interactive technology into your classroom without creating more stress or work.

Following through a lesson plan requires multiple forms of practice and assessment, and the LARC Labs and online resources should be a part of your repertoire. This workshop will be an introduction to various tools for the language classroom, and way to leverage the power of the tools to add value to your lesson. The workshop will conclude with a survey to help determine the 2011/2012 Brownbag schedule.
