Persian 101/102 – 201/202 – 301/302


Persian 101/102 Description

May 27 – July 2, 2009. Cost: $1800

This intensive 8-unit course is designed to teach practical language skills and cultural awareness. Students shall learn & expand their four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing of the Persian language through conversations, games, written homework and Iranian movies. The Persian language is used in two styles of Literary and Colloquial, both of which shall be introduced from the beginning. This course satisfies SDSU and the language requirement at other campuses.

Persian 201/202 Description

May 27 – July 2, 2009. Cost: $1800
*Prerequisite Persian 101/102 or equivalent knowledge of Persian

This intensive 8-unit course will help students develop intermediate level skills in Persian speaking, listening, reading and writing. Through the use of authentic materials and field trips, the students will be exposed to a wide variety of topics including a more in depth academic and cultural knowledge. Undergraduate and graduate students, working professionals, college and university faculty and others may apply. In these 6 weeks, students will cover Persian 201 & 202.

Persian 301/302 Description

This intensive 8-unit course will help students develop advanced level skills in Persian speaking, listening, reading and writing.
