That’s where you come in! By contributing to our fund, you’ll directly impact a passionate learner’s journey. Your generosity will help us keep tuition affordable and provide scholarships to deserving students.
SDSU-LARC has an excellent track record of securing external funding. We intend to leverage this capacity to finance the three Diagora subprojects in several ways:
- New Federal grants for, especially, the Language Revitalization
- State funding for language teacher professional development
- Private and community fundraising for, especially, the Language Camps
- Private fundraising for the Language Professionalization and Revitalization
- Industry collaboration for language-learning technologies
How You Can Make a Difference:
We believe that educating and caring for our children is done best in a communal effort. So, there are multiple ways in which you can be a part of our programs and make a real impact.
Donate
Consider making a donation to our scholarship fund. Every dollar counts, and together, we can empower the next generation of global citizens.
- $20 pays for the learning supplies for 1 student
- $120 pays 10% of the camp cost for 1 student*
- $600 pays 50% of the camp cost for 1 student*
- $1,190 pays 100% of the camp cost for 1 student*
*Camp cost includes: salaries of camp staff, facilities rental, cultural activities, and learning supplies. Donations will be passed on directly to students/campers and their parents by charging a reduced fee.
Pledges
Pledges are welcome to sponsor a scholarship for 1 student each year in perpetuity. The donors and sponsors will be invited to the end-of-camp ceremony, where they will meet our camp team (language counselors and camp staff). Donations will be gratefully acknowledged.
