“Make it and Take it” Workshop for Teachers of World Language and ELD

Hands-on activities are valuable for all students, especially for kinesthetic and tactile learners.

Event Date: Tuesday, July 7, 2015

Time: 8:30AM – 2:30PM

Registration Fee: $25.00

Location: Mission Bay Professional Development Center, 2475 Grand Ave (at Lee St), , San Diego, CA 92109

We will provide light refreshments in the morning. Please bring your own lunch.

This workshop is based on cost recovery therefore a minimum enrollment of 10 participants is required. This workshop is for all World Language and ELD Teachers. This workshop is not language specific. SAILN will provide some materials but participants will be asked to bring a few materials with them.

We’re providing this workshop because professional development programs often do not allow time to create materials. This is a chance for teachers to actually produce instructional activities that provide opportunities for listening, speaking, reading, writing, and viewing.
